Series 5000 Knife Gate Valves

Features:

• HEAVY DUTY Knife Gate Series Valves cast ductile iron body and yoke for the most rugged service.
• Through bolting on side flange bolts allow easy installation.
• Replaceable natural rubber seat provides a BI-DIRECTIONAL BUBBLE TIGHT SEAL across gate from 0 to 150 PSI. Seat is quick and easy to replace.
• SEAT IS FLUSH with the bottom of the port ELIMINATING pockets in the bottom of the valve that may collect material in media such as slurries, pellets or powders.
• Rubber seat has a MOLDED-IN STEEL REINFORCEMENT and is bolted in place to prevent shifting out of position by gate movement.
• EASY CONVERSION from handwheel operator to hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder, bevel gear, chainwheel, electric motor, or fail safe spring cylinder operator using existing cast yoke.

Series 4000 Knife Gate Valves

• Heavy Duty fabricated carbon steel or stainless steel Knife Gate Valve body, yoke and packing gland.
• UHMWPE, PTFE, or Polypropyoene liner and seat provide bi-directional tight shutoff.
• Three-piece field replaceable liner/seat.
• Available in standard pressure ratings of 150 PSI.
• ANSI B16.5 Class 150.
• Stainless steel gate and stem for corrosion resistance and durability. Special Alloys, coatings and surface hardening also available.

Series 4100 Knife Gate Valves

• Designed to handle dense mixtures of stock and slurries. The shearing action of the Knife Gate cuts through solids and cleans the seat as it closes.

• Gate and seat are machined and fitted to provide shut off in one direction.

Series 4300 Knife Gate Valves

Features:

Series 4400 Cylinder Knife Gate Valves

Features:

• The carboxilated nitrile with Teflon® compound rod seal is self-lubricating and durable. The rounded lip design ensures proper sealing and long Knife Gate life.
• The standard rod wiper construction is a highly durable polyurethane.
• High strength steel (100,000 psi minimum yield) piston rod has a ground, polished, and chrome plated surface. This surface provides maximum life for both the rod bushing and the seals.
• The bushing retainer allows cartridge removal (cylinder repair) without complete disassembly.
• The tie rods are 100,000 psi minimum yield steel for maximum holding power. The threads are roll formed for superior strength and engagement.
• The piston seal is a carboxilated nitrile with Teflon® compound making it self-lubricating. The “T” seal with back-up ring construction prevents rolling and seals at all pressures.

Series 4500 Knife Gate Valves
